Celeste has spent over 30 years as a public school science teacher, club advisor, troop leader, coach, and licensed wildlife rehabilitator. She has received numerous awards and grants for her innovative classroom student safari and environmental club programs. Each year hundreds of students visited and participated in her safari. Celeste has rescued and rehabilitated almost every animal in her program. The classroom student safari has benefitted scout troops, science fairs, birthday parties, camps, and numerous other community and private events. Celeste has been recognized by the Town of North Hempstead, multiple Boards of Education, Section IX, and other student organizations for her dedication and commitment.

Meet Kaibo the Blue Iguana
Kaibo the blue iguana was adopted in September. Kaibo is a cool, outgoing iguana that loves grapes and romaine lettuce!
